We're got friends from southern NSW with us for the week and i was going to take them over for a 3 day shortie visit on Friday, if the conditions are OK.
I'm wanting to know if Hook Pt. is a goer or not.
I'm not keen on the Inland tracks to bypass Hook, as the ol Jeep doesn't have very high clearence and i've heard the buses have carved the tracks up a lot.
Thanks in advance for the info.....

Just shoot around there in the boat and have a look.............................................

Funny you should say that, we're taking them out on the boat tomorrow and i was going to have a bit of a look.

Surf's pretty big here on the open beaches today. Might start backing off tomorrow but take that into account as well.

The trees on the banks at Hook Pt make it low tide only. We had to wait among the trees for nearly an hour before it was safe (enough) for us to blast up 75 Mile.

Went over easter via the inland track, had just been graded. Was good.

Even if you have to take it easy, the inland track does not take that long.

Well, due to the bloody rain we had earlier in the week and the week before that and me taking them boating on Wednesday, i had too much work to do to go to Fraser after all, so the ol girl took 'em there today on a bust rip while i went mowing and blew a spindle on the ride-on.
I got a trip to Gympie to pick up parts and those buggers are zooming all over Fraser.
At $150.00 per person, i thought it was pretty good value seeing it had lunch included. (The bus trip, not the mower spindle)
Like i'm gunna get lunch with my mower parts. sheeesh.
