Hi xcvator I think you can still camp at Moira park on the goulburn and I think I read on here people had been camping at Undera not sure if they were on the river or not but as we live near there we usually camp on the Murray still with our dogs.  Toolamba is just out of Shepp and there are places along there sorry I cannot name them.  BF says there are sandbars on the goulburn if you enter the bush down McCrackens Rd off Shepparton/Barmah road but we have not been in there for years so do not know what it is like he said he used to swim there when he was younger.  Not sure what is dog friendly and what isnt we always like to take our dogs so do look for places that we can.  Moira park is not national park and last I knew you could have dogs in there, it is just the Melb side of Shepparton around Kialla area enter down Moira Drive.  Good luck

Mostly all part of the Lower Goulburn National Park now.  No Dogs Permitted.

Hi Mace from what I can find on net Moira park is still state forest havent been out there for awhile but grew up riding the horses out there they have sled dog racing in there each year which I would think they couldnt if national park so that might be an option for xcvator.  I am trying to load that link and computer is being slow.  This is why we always end up back at the Murray as whilst it stays as it is dogs can come

Learn something new every day! Looks as though everything north of Shepparton is national park, but south of Shepparton including Moira park is classed as Shepparton regional park. Camping with dogs is permitted in regional parks.

Not exactly where you asked about but not  far from Euchua  on the edwards river there is some great secluded spots. Not sure if dogs allowed but have seen people camping with them.
