Travelling to Fraser on Easter Monday and was after the current beach condition.
I have seen the latest office report of the current conditions

Has anyone on here been to the big sandy island over the last couple of weeks. I am particularly interested about access around Hook Point.
Thanks

Been camped at inskip for the last 3 weeks and can see over. Cars have been waiting for the tide to get around hook point because of the trees. About 2 hrs each side of low should see you her around otherwise take the inland track. The barge has also been landing west of there normal landing at high tide to access the other track as the other one had a steep cliff. Best bet to call the barge and ask. This was as of last week.

Thanks for that, 3 weeks at Inskip sounds a bit hard to take, you have had pretty good weather

We were on Fraser last week........Tuesday and Wednesday and could not drive the beach at the bottom of the island and had to go through the inland track. Lots of debris on the track still then.
Inland trck very cut up and workers are there doing lots of repair. Don't know what to compare it too as it was our first time on Fraser.
Storms caused lots of damage and tides were higher then usual.
