Just perusing the new Jayco Glamper trailer range.
I was considering upgrading the Hawk for a Flamingo ST. (Thought the wife and skids might like the extra comfort....)
It would appear from their website that they no longer make the shower toilet model in the flamingo.
Not that its that big a deal, but I probably would have traded up.
Oh well. Just have to save up and convince her we need an expanda OB3....... >:D
Cheers

Thanks for the tip and link.
I did think about that, but the price is somewhat higher..............round about $10k.
That buys a lot of fuel............
For that price I would probably go for the expanda.
Cheers

The 16.49-3 expanda is the duck guts, well worth the coin.

So is a Bugatti Veyron if you have the spare laying around.
Sadly everyone has a budget.

I've got my eye on a new 16.49 - OB 3, but the boss insists it a caravan not a camper............
She's also worried, I'll kill it taking to some of the spots we go.
The Hawk has been dragged through a few creek beds and embankments............... the extra weight and length is a concern.
I don't see it as a problem, just go slower or approach differently.
Plus scars are a sign of good times.........
Perhaps you and the missus need a chat............. :D
Thanks

It's not a caravan it's a hard sided camper. Ours is on independant susppension and sits very high with plenty of clearance. June/July we are heading to cape york and taking the expanda to the tip, so I'll let you know how well it travels.

I am sure Jayco stopped doing the ST version of the Flamingo a few years ago...
