Harley had a few that make the HEV look pretty normal tho!

Looks OK to me !!!!!

Don't forget, nearly all concept vehicles don't ever make it to production looking anything like the show special.....

I think a few more manufacturers need to push the limits a bit and deliver something that looks a bit different.....I'm sick of having to look twice to make out who made the latest crop of cars and 4wd's..

Although I see a few of you are still driving around in old Patrols....c'mon fellas.....step into the 21 st century !!!!!    ;D  ;D

Some do. Agree about pushing boundaries. The HEV actually looks as if its continuing the design themes of the current Triton.  The nose could easily be produced.  Not shure about the tub!

my eyes, my eyes...........................

Ugly as..........and that rear............overhang or not, a decent whack offroad and you'll never get it looking right again.

As for  the 21st Century, all I can think off when I hear/see that is Duck Dodgers...................... ;D ;D ;D ;D  yes yes I know it's 24 1/2 century............

Anywho, I may have a tractor engine, but mine will run without battery power.......................can your's do that.......... also no electronics to go fizzle pop 1000km from any populated area.  8)

Why should we who have the old Patrols take a step backwards  ??? ??? ??? ???

How many (and it don,t matter what brand) of these 21st century four wheel drives are written off by insurance companies because they got water into the electrics or some other silly bloody thing, at least with my old Patrol when I do go to deep into water ( and it has been posted  on this forum), once on the other side I can within less than 1 hour drive the Old Girl away.

cheers duggie

Agree, i have a MN Triton, pile of crap. Love to get into a low km 4.2 Patrol ute. Modern diesel utes have so many issues its scary, and when they get older and out of warranty.............. :'(

Ha ha.......wheres that fishing emoticon when you need it   ;D

You do know that nowadays they have tablets, mobile phones and cars that have cruise control and stereos with usb sticks in them ???

Newer cars do have electronics in them.....but in comparison to the older cars, they really are more reliable !!!

Old style 4wd's are really good offroad, but unfortunately, I've also gotta drive mine on the freeway as well !! 8)

She's a beauty!  The way the tub is curved so evenly around the back of the cab, when the chassis bends no one will notice, you can flog it off as having a lift kit! >:D
