We recently purchased a Jayco swan outback with upgraded 2 tonne suspension and have noticed the plate in the front boot only says total 1677kg? Can anyone else tell me have the upgraded there suspension and what your plate has on it? We asked Jayco and their reply was " That is the total weight of the upgraded suspension. Has anyone else come across this?

so that looks to mean that you can only carry 323kgs of gear before you are overloaded.
how much does that boat weigh?plus the water in the tanks, and your food etc

Sorry is says camper weight is 1377kg and total weight capacity is 1677kg but Jayco sold it to me as 2000kg axles. But there is no mention of 2000kg anywhere, but when I asked Jayco today they said that this is the upgraded suspension, but could explain why it does not state it on the plates.

Sorry jayco could not explain. I'm concerned if I carry more then 1677 all up that if an accident happened they may use over weight as an excuse and not pay up.

There is more to a trailer's capacity to hold weight than just the weight rating of the axle or suspension. There are plenty of CT's that have 2T axles but the max weight might be around your stated limit. The plated weight is what you can legally load up to. Other factors such as the brakes come into play when upgrading the payload of a trailer. By what you describe it sounds like the salesperson had next to no idea about this.
