Title: Barrington Tops in March 2013

Hi folks,

The family and I are headed to Dilgry River Camping Area in early March. At least that is the plan!

For those that have been to Barrington Tops before and/or live nearby, will it be OK to camp at Dilgry with all the rainy weather hitting the mid north coast of NSW recently?

I am not looking for to do 'Mudfest 2013' so keen to hear what people think so we can change tack if need be.

I have checked/emailed the relevant parks sites and can see no closures at the moment.

What dates in March ?

After a lot of rain, I like to see a week of fine weather before heading into somewhere like there.....

That doesn't look like happening at this stage though........

But Dilgry is a very short distance from the main Barrington road, which is an all weather road,  so I wouldn't discount it just yet........but I'd have a backup plan though !!
