Post by: Griswold on February 19, 2013, 09:35:01 PM
Hi all, does anyone have some suggestions where to stay over Easter, outback swan in tow. Initial thoughts is howqua but I'm led to believe its very busy ver this period but I guess every other spot is probably the same..

What would Stringybark Creek be like at Easter? After reading Carlisles article in 4WD Touring I am thinking of taking the kids on a history lesson for Easter about Ned Kelly.

Stringbark Creek will have a few around, its not super popular as there is no big river or stream nearby.  There is allways the Tolmie Sports Ground as a backup - see the Kelly Country Camp Thread.  Hot showers and proper Toilets!

Sorry, we will be at Omeo, so cant give a personalised tour.
