Title: The best meat pies
Post by: edz on February 13, 2013, 08:43:41 PM
The best Meat PIE !!!
I love a good pie or three, bugger it gone and made myself hungry for one now .....So when your out touring or even for a week end wheel and just want a quick good feed.. Where are the best meat pie's to be had "" In your Opinion "" ... I'll start it with the ones from the bakery at the shell servo in Rainbow Beach Fraser coast QLD " Taste, size & plenty of filling, Bloody beautifull " ...they would rate as my favourite meat pie to be had so far... A very close second would be from the Austral cafe in Murwillumbah Northern NSW.. So where do you get yours ??????.

If you go into Yatala Pies and ask em for the seconds they'll give you a bag of frozen ones to take home....................They might have a split in the top or be a wonky shape but they still taste awesome.

Mmmm pie.  Banjo's at Cleveland in QLD make a super pepper steak pie, their mini sausage rolls are awesome too.
