Hey Guys, long time no visit.
As most of you are aware i am a stong advocate for "decent quality" imported trailers, and after owning mine for 2 years I am still happy with my $6000 purchase.
Recently i was offered a job as a sales manager for an imported camper trailer company (Leisure Matters, the same brand i tow) and i took up the offer. So i will be traveling around Aus, to all the camping/4WD shows selling these new and improved trailers.
I know there will be many here who will snub the nose at me but i dont realy care, for those who are at 4WD/camping shows, be sure to come and find me and say gday. From time to time i might put an ad in the showroom, but i certanly wont be hammering you guys with our products.
Anyway, hope to bump into a few members before too long.
My first show is Newcastle, then im off to Adelaide
Cheers

Gee thanks Mace,
I hope your serious, i may hold you to that :-)

Hey, you might promote imported trailers....and you might tow them all round Australia.....but if you are prepared to stand behind the trailers, I don't believe anybody will snub their nose at you..
If you have taken the job because you believe they are a decent trailer, then good on you ......and best of luck in your new job !!
-
I wont snub you.
Might hate you cos you're doing something I want to, but that's just good old fashioned jealousy.............. :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
Best wishes on your endeavours,
keep us posted.

I'll pay you a visit at the Adelaide Show.
Good luck with the new job = hope it goes well for you.
-
Good luck, hope to see you at some of the shows.

Mate BEST of luck with your new Job.
I don't think anyone would snub you????
I have found with allot of business's that no matter what the product be it good or bad, Is no reason to snub an employee. (only the poor decision makers at the very top of the totem pole >:D )
I would assume that you would do your job to the best of your ability and that is what matters. Clearly you seem passionate about it and that is what will obviously drive you to do well. :cup:
On another note, are you going to the Albury rv show?? If so I'll say G'day and shout you a few
Cheers

We as a company will be at the Albert show, however I won't be there. I have family commitments.
Thanks for all the support.

Look forward to saying G'Day in Adelaide.
Will never snub my nose at anyone for the products they choose to use camping. I believe there is a place in the market for all budgets of campers.
 Cracka

You coming over to the west?

All the best with your venture. I gather the company is Leisure Matters Camper Trailers.
Just a suggestion, on the website the RRP for the Trooper Delux Camper being $19,500 and being sold now for $6999 is a little bit hard to swallow. Also the hard floor model RRP. Maybe make the RRP's a little more realistic.
I hope you enjoy your new role.

will happily drop over and say g'day @ the newcastle show

I dont think anyone, let alone many, would snub their nose at you for selling an imported product.
Don't confuse robust discussion or criticism with personal snubbing.
Good luck and have fun.
-
Good luck with the new venture mate ;D

Cheers guys. Personally I want to get rid of the RRP, change it to "total value" or something and make it a lot closer.
Yeah I'm coming to do the WA show in March.
Oh and if ya go to the website and "request a call back" you will hear from me too :-)

I believe it is actually against the trade practices act to advertise a misleading RRP...
You may want to look at quality control, not much water will flow through this...

Yeah a pretty ordinary pic of the water pump, agree.
Yeah I will have a hard floor ranger at newy. Come check it out.
I'm more that happy for you all to come and critique out trailers.

Please tell me the control arm is sleeved and the whole weight of the camper isn't riding on that bolt.

agreed. thanks for the feedback.
-
Good Luck with it. Like you say the imported products will get a hammering from time to time but listen to your customers, make improvements as you go and avoid allowing unhappy customers loose and everything will be fine....which Im sure you know anyway :)
-
Nothing wrong with imported.
Most if not all of us drive an imported 4WD.
I had an imported camper trailer, my new one is also imported. I Shit canned my older one not because it was imported, just it crap quality that happens here during assembley and construction.
