I'll tell you the trick with these 12 volt lights.

From time to time, take the battery out after running the light flat and recharge using a 240v charger. The power packs that come with them are not very good and never get them back to top charge. I've done this  few times with our Coleman Red Lantern and have doubled the life span.

Seem like a great deal by the way.
