Young fella just passed his practical test for his P plate licence first time up. No more driving him to his school sport events every Saturday. :cup:
Also means he can drive me home when I have had a couple.  :cup:
Also says I'm getting older as it just feels like yesterday when I passed mine. But; I bet his test was a hell of a lot harder than mine.
Also means he can take the Trol & CT away by himself. >:( >:(
I'll still be going to his sport events though whether it's in the passenger seat or another car.

Good luck to daughter tomorrow.
Haven't seen him so happy as now. He's off now to his mates place to play COD. First outing by himself.

May I suggest all the new drivers attend a defensive driving course?
AAMI is one that runs them, and they put them through all sorts of situations, in their own car.
AAMI give a discount on full comp insurance on completion of the course.
Well worth the small outlay, IMO.

Fully agree. Been there, done that.

Good luck with the whole "weekends are mine again" thing. I thought the same but then found that the son would want to take on eof our cars, LB had a car and I was stuck at home waiting for one of them to return to go out.
He then got his own car and still wants to borrow ours because apparently the petrol fairies fill our petrol tank where he has to spend his own money for his petrol.
You will now become a prisoner to your kids whims on car use.
