Sitting by the fire under a crystal clear sky reading MySwag at Riverwood Downs.
This place is setup so well for fur kids and human kids alike.
Lance has spent most of his time off lead, playing fetch (sorry to those trying to play cricket but you were short a fielder), swimming in the river and making new friends
There is a restaurant which is dog and kid friendly, with an extensive menu for both as well as some of the best restaurant food I have had in a long time and it was great for LB to have the fur kid at her birthday dinner as well.
Dog and kid meals come out first to keep the restless ones happy, the kids are then given an activity pack whilst the parents eat their meal in relative peace.

Have the kids spotted the Platypus and the Water Dragons oh yeah and those Carpet Python.Cant wait till Dexter gets a bit older and i can take him up

I just read your post on the expensive camping section about this place. Thanks So much I think it has gone to the top of my list now to get some holiday time. We mostly bush camp but the place where we have gone for 10+ years is often now full of idiots with a millions jet skis kids motorbikes going all day etc. I dont mind these things if they are given a break and the music is not going all night every night so it is less enjoyable there now unless you get there when everyone else has gone home. Again thanks for sharing :cheers:

We spent a weekend at Riverwood Downs in mid December & some drunk idiots further up the road thought it would be funny to start howling at about 1.30am - set every dog off barking in the park >:(
