Title: A great way to clean windscreen bugs
Post by: Disco4Guy on January 04, 2013, 10:38:51 AM
We stumbled upon this after looking for something to clean the windscreen down after a serious bug splatter.  They're the most awesome bug wiper-offers I've ever used...

Before a serious trip I allways condition the windscreen and mirrors with RainX original, makes an amazing difference for veiwing in all weather and heaps easier to clean off the bugs. Gotto make sure to follow the application instructions exactly though to get a good result

A work mate had issues with his windscreen fogging up regularly.

Whilst we were trying to offer suggestions as to why this was occurring he commented that he had just used some RainX (or similar) and it didn't appear to make any difference to the rain beading on the screen.

We eventually worked out he had applied the RainX to the INSIDE of the windscreen!!!!!!

Some mother's do 'ave 'em.

There is a RainX treatment available for the inside of the windscreen aswell.

They are apparently great for cleaning out naughty puppy's too. 8)

Our 16 week Staffy thought they'd be good to chew on and managed to chew down a quarter of a pack before we confiscated them.

She had the runs for 2 days.

The Aldi ones are cheaper and work just the same on the bbq (I find they work ok).
