Hi guys, don't know if anybody really cares or not, but I am now a happy camper, we just brought a 60ltr evakool rv fridge freezer, so far so good. Price was also good, 699 with a bag, and I got a fridge stand aswell for 1/2 price.
The fridge works great, got down to temp so fast, it seems awesome, check them out.

that sounds dirt cheap, i had looked at the evacool and liked them but they always seemed to be more expensive than the waeco

Think you will find it is not their white fibreglass model but their budget model, hence the cheaper price.

It is there top line model fridge. They advertised a fridge and genny deal but due to issues unknown cant supply the genny so selling the fridges heaps cheaper.
Cant go wrong for the price, they are a good looking unit.

That's a ripper price down from $1249

No, it's not. But a good buy nonetheless. A $300 saving is pretty good.

Hi guys I saved $480 odd, so it was massive savings. The fridge does seem solid though, time will tell. I would have brought an engel but they were not in my price range.

we are in the same boat, i've wanted a Waeco for a very long time now, but can't justify handing over $1500 for a fridge set up when for 99% of my needs my evakool eski does the job but with a trip to south west WA planned i've been trying to figure out how to get a fridge into the ever shrinking budget, this may fill the bill
-
They are exclusive to BCF. Not a danfoss compressor.
Still a good price. I'd love to know what the real-world power usage of these fridges are.

Anaconda do price matching... I've been told even with Online stores as a mate got his 50 dualzone wako from there 12mths ago on a price match.. He paid around 900 for it.

Hey guys, yea danfross copy, 2yrs warranty, exclusive to BCF, warrented by Evakool, I called the Evakool guys up, I spoke to the staff there about the fridge, they have NOT have 1 compressor fail, but he diddnt say that anything else on them has failed. At the end of the day if it Shits itself I will put a real denfross compressor in there, I know that I can make it fit, its just the rest of the fridge that may be ordinary, but it does have excellent insulation, and the unit is made of steel sheet, has a plastic tub, but I dont know how long it will last, time will tell, but it was really cheap, and cheap can be cheap, the evakool guys were easy to talk to, so if any problems i will keep you informed. cheers
