Title: Any My Swaggers around Rockhamton way?

gday guys.

is there any nice Swaggers around the Rocky area could swing by and take a look at a Patrol i have my eye on? some one who knows their way around a Patrol would be great. will give them an address thru Pm if they can help me out,cheers.

What model patrol you looking at. I am in Rockhampton but can't say I have a huge mechanical background. Owned a patrol before going to the lc200.

Had the 2005 3litre so really would not know enough about them to give you a fair opinion. But if you get really stuck let me know might be able to help in a week or so just about to start shifts again.

i own a 4.8 also owned a 2.8td for many yrs did Lots to it could possibly take a look at it for you if time permits go on hols end of next wk. this 4.2td wouldn't have 220k on the clock would it i saw one the other day they were asking 50k Ono pretty stock. Working tomorrow but will check the forum but on my ph. if you want pm me your number and I'll give u a call through the day cheers Paul

Sure does look very nice  :cup: :cup:........are you sure it's a 1999 model (Series 1)?
The colour (Pewter), grille, and maybe coolant bleed line to the radiator (not on Series 1, but may be a mod) make it look like a Series 2 (from April 2000). Got pics of the back, and the dash/radio?

This baby goes hard and is in excellent condition looks like new underneath when the owner says he he's never taken it on the beach I believe him mine looked like that underneath for about a week from factory. Loved the test drive makes me miss my old diesel. Now the waiting game

Theirs a lot to miss Pauly - the mighty GQ was a real beast  ;D - Still whats not to like about 50L/100 in the big 4.8!!!! Just gotta love that grunt  :cheers:

haha yes mate this thing goes hard was telling Mark about yours it's got similar get up and go. I do miss the diesel and those crawler gears but love the 4.8 even at 50 litres per 100 lucky that doesn't happen to often. I reckon I'll need 600 litres this year for fraser alone not including getting there and back lol
