It's Christmas??? when did this happen??? haven't got time for that yet!!!

Didn't know it had started. Life just goes by too quickly the older I get. It used to take forever for December to come around. Now it feels like it was last month I took the tree down.
I got to get back to life in the slow lane I reckon.

My birthday is the 21st of the 12th, so we better make it! However if not I do not care. As for Christmas I was over it last year when we had it at our place, do not care this year. Really wish it was every two years. Just too much trouble, so much excess in all ways! Very very tiresome indeed.

I love Christmas. A time for holidays, road trips, over eating (okay so I do that every day), over drinking (okay so I do that most weekends), presents, afternoon naps, sitting in the pool fully clothed (only day we are allowed to), seeing my immediate relies (okay they are his), lots and lots of sleep ins, a nice smelling tree inside (okay so it's plastic and smells like last years dust), Chrissy lights (okay so they are keeping me and the neighbours awake), kids are off school so the morning run to work is a hell of a lot shorter (or at least if feels that way because I'm not dodging idiot drivers), the shops are filled with songs that I actually know, and the shops are filled with most of the town so driving anywhere is easier (as long as it's before they close).
Gotta love it!
