Title: Stockton Beach Closure For Camping and Some Driving Areas

If your planning to come and play/camp on Stockton Beach Pt Stephens this season you better make other arrangements.They have decided to keep it CLOSED until further notice.Still hasnt recovered from wild seas etc. See link for all details where you can drive etc

On the second photo.. That wash out must be 3 metres high? Must have been big seas to do that..

When i first heard it had been closed to camping my immediate thoughts were that NPWS had got there way! however after seeing the pics it looks like it got a real pounding if the Fishing village got hit as it must 300-400 meters inland.

Great spot so hope it recovers soon.

Stockton Beach is like Ayers Rock they will use any excuse to stop you going on it eventually.But granted this time is waranted.
