Title: School holidays, when are they?

I saw all the schoolies stuff on tv tonight, when are the school hols starting please?

i don't have kids etc, so i never really take much notice.

QLD is from ? to ?

NSW is from ? to ?

Schoolies is different to school holidays. School holidays start around the end of December usually a week before Xmas. Schoolies is after VCE exams finish so very soon

Last day of term 4 is 12 December for state primary schools.
Year 12 finished today. Year 10 in 2 weeks.

Private schools in about 2 weeks I think.

Not sure about NSW.

NSW Christmas Holidays start 19th December (not sure if there is a difference between the city and bush on end dates)
28th Jan 2013 city kids go back, our bush kids don't go back until the following week.  Because that extra week really makes a difference with the heat lol
