Title: Anyone in the market for a 200 series??

Post by: Jason B on November 10, 2012, 09:22:18 PM: With the dodgy email I can guarantee you it is an off shore scam. Once you email them there will be some excuse why you cannot view the vehicle, the sale will be urgent and they will request payment prior to delivery.

They may even ask you for personal details and try and access your details on your computer.

Seen it before, and actually have an email trail from a seller similar......when I CCed crime stoppers into the email chain once I had his confidence and phone number etc etc....he was gone........email disabled.......phone number disconnected all with 10 minutes.........lol

Have a play if you are game.

Selling a Hyundai Elantra, guy wanted to buy it for his Dad, in New Zealand, he was in New York and the shipping agent was in the UK... Um, no thanks.

Spotted an add for a 2010 Jayco Swan in a printer caravan trader mag, rang the number, left a VM. Next day, I get an SMS advising how to proceed. The camper was located somewhere between Darwin and the QLD boarder, so very hard to get to. Ended up finding an old add from Gumtree, where they stole the photos form, was actually in Vic..

Always, always, always, proceed with caution. If you cannot see it, put your hands on it, run like buggery...
