G'day one and all,
After a great many years doing the donkey bray (with all the hawwing and heeing) I finally purchased myself my first fourby and it's what seems to be a beauty of a specimen, a '98 Pajero NL GLS.
I hope to wax lyrical of the wonders and adventures it shall take me on, though, truth be told, it will spend most of it's life being a workhorse and carrying loads to and from the farm I'm setting up.
Still, they tell me that once you get the option to super select, you'll never want to stay on the bitumen and after seeing some of the posts here, I can feel a little camp itch forming ...
Have a few plans to mod the beast, hopefully I'll be diligent enough to document those as I go along as well ... So, umn, that's it for now - I'm going digging through the forum posts and I'm sure I'll get to know a few of you as time kicks on.
So, for now, hello and cheers :D

You're just in time; there is a whole bunch of us getting together near Mansfield this weekend, you should come over to the Tolmie Sports Ground and meet a heap of great folks.

Welcome to the forum.
What sort of farm are you setting up? We only recently sold ours and miss it daily.
Good luck

Welcome to the forum.
Thank you :)

The farm is a ten year drain on will power, time and finances *cough* project to build it up to have mixed livestock enterprises and become a cross between a retirement crust earner and teaching farm ... Well, that's the idea ... I'm just glad I have a wife who loves, supports and indulges me ... for now.

Yep have to agree with the bit you crossed out. BUT they are a lot of fun and there's nothing more satisfying than sitting back on the deck and admiring all your hard work and the beauty of the land. Also agree that a supportive family is half the battle won.
Enjoy
