Title: Who's not camping at Xmas? (and would lend/rent me their camper)
Post by: BigJules on October 29, 2012, 07:09:26 PM
We've been without a camper for way too long, which has meant that we haven't camped as a family for probably 18 months.

I've just booked a beach site for a week and hope to go away for another week, and before I go and try to hire a camper I wondered if anyone was game  to rent me theirs?

I know, I know, it's a tough call, but I thought it worth asking. Promise we won't be doing the GRR or Blue Rag, more like the Pacific Highway.

Thank you. We have tents, but as you would all know once you've used a camper a tent just doesn't cut it.

I will be getting in touch with a couple of the hire companies, but one always likes to check in here first.

We've got a week booked in Tuncurry with the in-laws at a van park, not sure about the second week.

yeah I have a rental unit but to be honest it's more suited to a desert trip than a week in a c'park but teamed with a tent it's a good 'hub' for a happy family. Let me know if you wish :)

I'd be surprised if there isnt a trailer company looking for a good unbiased test on a new trailer out there somewhere. :D

You could have ours but you would have t do the GRR in the wet  ;D then you can take it back there and then you would have to bring it back here.

If only I could Steve. That is the most attractive offer I've had since, well, a while.

I'm pretty happy. I have just booked a camper for two weeks with Premier Camper Trailer Hire (http://www.premiercampertrailerhire.com.au/). David and Jamye were really helpful.

I am thinking I'd better get there early to pick mine up, as we might chat  for a while.
