Hi team. Has anyone out there had issues with their mirrors?
I have this type on the Triton

and I have wrecked a few going over the odd dirt road. They either fall apart, or rattle and move so you can't use them.
I have put plates under them, tightened the adjustments etc, but they still fail when you get out of town.
Maybe the doors on Toyota utes are made so they don't move as much.
Starting to think I have to try this style

Any advice/ experience out there would be appreciated.

You could try the nissan mq patrol type, less problems than the toyota type.

Thanks for the tip, Duggie, I'll keep an eye out for something like that. I have a pair of small west coast style mirrors, but to fit them I will need to plug up a few holes in the door. Not something I really want to investigate.
