Title: A bar at home
Post by: rodsswag on October 20, 2012, 08:29:15 PM
Hi all,
I am looking at building a bar at home to house all of the port and etc.... before we head out on the black top to get to the dirty stuff.
We have a bit of room in the dinning/family room to build a (sweet as) but not to big BAR.......
We have a fridge (full size) and lots of bottles to fill it.
I am looking for some ideas to create it.
Any help would be great.
Maybe after tonight there would not be as much full bottles but they can be replaced easy.
I am very handy with all sorts of tools. Both wood and metal.
I am thinking simple frame with some mini orb around the front, and a nice stained top with some cup holders built in.
Thanks for the input.

Rod........................

Just went to an outdoor kitchen place. There, they had a beer on tap setup, leg in fridge, at cost of $150.

He was saying at a You-Brew-It place you get kegs with your fav beer, and it can last 6 months, if you don't drink it.

Looked impressive. Very easy to pour beers, a little too easy

Hmmm, That's the problem, it becomes to readily available. That is why I stopped home brewing a few years ago.

Been thinking of making my own bar, I have all the material to do it, just gotta pull my finger out and do it.
Although I do like the idea of an outside one like Bill and Morag's.
Might have to rethink this to include our Fire Pit that we already use regularly. Arrh the grand Plan  (http://www.hairfysh.com/images/Icons/Smileys/smiley-thinking.gif)
