Hi everyone
Just picked up a 2007 Finch in very good condition except for two annoying bits that I'd like an opinion on.
Some of the external rubber seals between the body panels, and the rubber seals behind the running lights and reflectors are soft with mildew and yellow spots on them - can anyone recommend a good cleaner that won't damage the rubber further ?
Also the fiberglass front end has yellowed in places, I'm guessing it was polished with a car polish and the ammonia got to it ( seen boats look that way from car polish ), but does anyone know if the white colour can be restored and with what ?
Any help greatly appreciated

Not sure about about the yellowing, but the rubber behind the lights is normal, ugly, but normal.
It is better to replace than try to clean, it is not dirt, it is deterioration of the actual rubber.

Thanks MD, we're getting into it this morning to tidy a few things up, replace a few rusty screws, maybe give it a polish ;D

Can't help on the rubber, but you could try a product made by septone called Drifter for the fibreglass. It's a gelcoat restorer. Should be available at BCF or a good chandlery.
