Title: Dual Cab Cargo Drawers

To fit out the Ssangyong to the specifications I would like would cost up to $2500. I am in the fortunate position of having good design software (Autodesk Inventor) and access to appropriate tools, consequently I have decided to design and make my own from plywood. To have the plywood supplied and (90%) pre-cut will cost under $250. I already have a fridge slide. I am considering using proper slides for the drawers. The drawer size will be L 1000 X W 420 X H 250 approx.
A few questions:
Is this type of runner a good reliable product?
Is the locking variety desirable (i.e. does it lock solidly and prevent the drawer from opening accidently)?
Is the 60kg suitable or do I step up to the 125kg?

I have the same ones in the back of the Jeep - for my 2 drawers - since removed the fridge slide as I could not get the line up to work properly - kept slipping out of the groove - but the drawers and the locks work well - currently holding tool kits and coffee making gear ..

That slide profile looks like most; very good in a vehicle - not so good in dusty/gritty conditions (eg open trailer)

locking in and out is a good idea, vehicle driving movement will allow the draw to jiggle back and forth, parking car nose-down will cause slide to roll back in. Both frustrating!

Series of rollers with a thick piece of angle.

I've got a set of these in my Dcab - strong as and cost effective. and thoroughly tested now.  Not affected by dirt n dust (which you will always get to varying extents in a dcab tub)
They also 'lock' open in several places to help prevent closing when parked on slight slopes.
