Title: Cape York water crossings.
Post by: Reevo on September 24, 2012, 07:33:13 AM
Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forum (i've come across from the dark side!)

Thought you might enjoy this "how not to go across Nolans" video on YouTube:
Cape York 2012 Nolans Brook June. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6SypdiuAgM#)

I think this guy was trying to skim across the top of the water!
Ps.
Sorry if this has been posted before here.

Wow no bra on the front and he hits the water like a sledgehammer... wonder how the radiator and fan were after that?

Yeah this has been around the traps a bit.

I wonder if the bystanders who told him to kill the engine also told him to hit the water that hard.

WOULD OF LOVED TO OF SEEN HIM WITH MORE RUN UP, snapping 3rd & 4th  :cup:
Letting it sink for traction on a hard bottom, "open the door, pull the bungs".....in comp can be a good thing....but when 1000's of km's away from home???? COMFY....LMAO.
"Got to love the side line orders....lol"
