Post by: 73coupe on September 24, 2012, 07:35:47 PM: Rebuilt the coupe over eight years, was a basket case when I got it, the only thing I did not do was the final coats of the paint job. It's great to combine two loves, camping and classic cars.

we have a Captiva we could use but the Colorado has more or less become a dedicated tow tug for the camper

You need the 4wd to see parts of the country that only those with a 4wd get to see. ;D
Once a month we do a day trip, with others and have a ball seeing country side in our own backyard that most people don't even know is here.

Looking at buying a second hand 4wd, interested to know more about the Kluger and dirt roads?

It's a 2012 KXR not a 4WD unfortunately, it's my husband's company car. :'(. He had a Ford Ranger before the Kluger, it was great. :angel:

thanks Bec, same problem I have with the Captiva, nice to drive but hopeless off the tar!
