Title: Cargo Storage System

What minimum thickness aluminium would be considered tough/strong enough for the carcass of a drawer system. Note: I am not referring to the actual drawers just the carcass.

I made the one in my 80 out of 3mm x 20mm square tube, I think there is photo somewhere on my Jayco Dove build thread, I will try and find it.  Anything else is pretty difficult to weld and the cost and weight difference in ally is not that much.  I also infilled and with aluminium mesh scrounged from screen doors that had been chucked out so that added strength.
