Hi all,
I was wondering if any has been informed of the weight limit on the roof of the Swan Outback.
I was informed today the roof can hold no more then 79kg whilst set up, well I have ordered one with the roof mounted aircond, bag flys, awning and boat rack which apparently as I found out is a total of 87.5kg. No one informed me of this when I ordered it. Does anyone have the same combination and if so, have you had any issues with the weight? ???

Hi Tuff Prada.
I Have a new swan that has the same except boat rack. On discussion with the Jayco dealer and people at the jayco factory they say the late model Outback campers are rated to 100kg's.
I have to admit though that I do find the it takes a bit of elbow grease to wind the roof up with the aircon on top!!!
What aircon did you order dometic or air command?
Cheers

Gday. Our swan has all of the above accessories as factory standard, so i wouldn't be too concerned. We recently spent 7 weeks away and had no dramas.

I got the Sparrow, it weighs 46kg the Dometic weighs 47kg.

Tuff Prado,
The Aircommand Sparrow actually weighs 33kgs. It is one of the reasons why they changed from Dometic.
