Yep, we're starting the hunt for the perfect 2nd hand camper trailer.
After advice on here, we've sought of decided a good 2nd hand Aussie is the go.
So now starts the hunt......
Looking at one this morning, so i'll let you know how we go.
We're going to Fraser next month for 5 days and would love to have a camper to take with us.
We'll stay in a house if we don't have one, but wold prefer to be camping.

Mate, there's hundreds to choose from.
I'm sure you have narrowed it down a bit - Hard or Soft...budget.

Yeah, gunna go for a softy.
I want the whole thing set up, with the works for no more than $10,000
This has to cover the camper trailer, Fridge. Stoves, porta crapper, tables, lights, battery on board, wiring, duel shower/crapper tent, aquacube, tv/dvd, knifes, forks, plates and all the other crap i can't think of yet.
We already have a brand new Honda EU20 gennie, but thats not included in the $10,000 limit.
We want to able to set our selvesup pretty good.
Was looking at heaters too, but with the gennie, i'm just thinking i'll get a heater from Big W and plug it in for half an hour while the gennie's running.
Hmmm, i wonder how hard it would be to mount a window rattler air cond unit to a tent. ;D

I've been hammering the Gumtree and trading post, but i'll suss that out too now.

Jeepers, you might be better off with a small gas heater. Either way, once you turn them off, it gets cold quickly

If its throwing Mrs. Jeepers up in the air and getting the wrinkles out of Mr. Wobbly, then we're good once were started. >:D

Going through the internet, it's unbelievable how many CT's are for sale.
Its a shock too, at how much some folks want for a tent on a trailer too.
I was really cranky at myself yesterday, as i'd decided to steer clear of slipper springs and after asking a heap of questions by email, then deciding to go and view the CT, the one thing i'd forgotten to ask was, about the springs. :-[
Nice drive to Urangan, coffee and cake overlooking the bay, but geez, 3 hours to travel time.
