Has any one got this camping book?

It claims to be Australia's most comprehensive camping guide?? The Camps 4-5-6 books are pretty good, so I wonder how this stacks up??

Haven't used the book, but used the website for the free camps- had good info for us, and gave places the camps (whatever numbers) didn't.

I asked them some questions and Interestingly all the camp sites in the books are also online! Which is great, but not the smartest marketing move to sell books?

l have Camps5 . SWOMBO said to get before a btrip , l thought Phhhhhh . Got it used it loved it . Now its the 3rd thing in the truck before a trip . Get it read it it will pay for itself very quickly . On line is Ok but only if you able to do that out there when needed . There might be a time to find a camp site late in the day off the track or in planing a trip

Ok so the first thing is beer.......whats the second? ;)

I use both this book and also camps 5 . I tend to prefer the Camping Australia book because it usually has a bit more info or comment about the actual campsite. Rod.

Spirits??

Thanks for the info. There is probably room for both but given that one has all their campsites online we will stick with camps 6. One thing I have found on my travels is, local knowledge or past experience can at times be better than any book ;)
