Hi Guys, below is an extract from the NT newspaper, sadly it was the mother of friends of ours. Just a reminder that we need to take care and live every day to the fullest. Unfortunately fatalities are up year on year up there also.

Northern Territory Police say a woman is dead after a car crash in the Top End last night.
Police say a Nissan Patrol rolled on the Central Arnhem Highway near Nhulunbuy shortly after 9.00pm.
Northern Watch Commander Gary Smith says the accident happened about 40 kilometres from the township.
The 77-year-old victim was the only person in the vehicle.
The cause of the crash is not known.
Police investigators will travel to the scene today.
The death takes the Territory's road toll to 28, compared with 20 at the same time last year.

Mate, It is always sad when someone you know is killed.
You are right, it is a timely reminder that we all need to be careful - ALL THE TIME.

So sad.
Not far from town. That is one road I drive carefully as you never know what its going to be like - especially as its dry season everyone is using it to get back to civilisation etc so its continually changing.
