Tigers are my favourite of the big kats ... although I'm a Lion by name (hence the nickname). I have their photos all over my house.
I patted "Mohan" at dreamworld about 10 years ago. He was their only white Tiger at the time. I also got to pat the babies as they went on a walk around the park. They aren't as soft as a regular pussy, more wirey like a terrier. I'll have to scan in my photo. I also pinched some of Mohan's hair ... I have to say ... they shed worse than my collie!!!!!!!!!
That's the biggest pussy I've ever stroked. And I've stroked alot of pussies.

There is a no winning clause in the 'Pat of the Tiger' thread. It's something I always wanted to do ... I love the Big Cats ... and Tigers have been my favourite for many, many years. ;D
I love's them. ;D
Such a pity ... they once ranged the entire planet ... that there are so few left in the wild. Poachers and habitat loss being their biggest threats. :'(

I leave my pic with Mohan at work. It generates conversation when people see it. He was lovely. Vale Mohan.
Mind you the funniest thing was stroking cheetahs at Canberra zoo. I accidentally kneeled in the cheetah p:$$. When I got home my little pussies just wouldn't stop smelling me.

I've got 2 x 6 month old inseparable Bengals kittens roaming the house. Kit_e_kat9 you should look them or Toyger kittens up for a pet.

I save feral kittens. It's a past time of mine. My last litter was 4 gingers - 2 long hair - 2 short. They were about 4 or 5 weeks old when they came to me. I rehoused them all at 8 weeks. Happy to say that 3 have made it this far ... not sure what happened to # 4 :'( ... it's very rewarding raising them like a mother kat and giving them to their new homes does make you cry, but you know they'll be happy.
