Title: Rear Drawers why so expensive

The last set I had I removed from my Triton and sold for 50% of the original cost after 4 years of hard service, not too bad.

I have the tanami brand in the Patrol and they are light and strong, a bit different design to the mainstream models.

Hes trying to avoid expensive.. the poor lad hasnt realised everything for a camper/4wd is over the moon in price compared to anythin else!

Still cost us about $600-700 (thats what hubby told me at least) for him to build them but that is with stainless and the hinges for the fridge slide.

We were looking around at prices but at $2k plus for draws plus fitting so I am lucky that my hubby could build ours.

Post by: krisandkev on July 28, 2012, 08:59:12 AM: I was very lucky. Saw an ad in local paper for a rear draw and fridge slide, Outback brand, that had come out of a Landrover. Got them for $250 and it was very easy to make a small ajustment to fit in our Cruiser. ;D
