We have just come home from a short but relaxing couple of days at Canal Ck.
What I was stunned about is someone had dropped a disposable nappy in Twin Falls!! ??? ??? ???
I wonder if they do this in their own backyard?
Another thing I was stunned at is someone had dropped a 44 drum for rubbish at Canal Ck.
I wonder if they think a rubbish truck goes there each week to empty it !!
I would like to remind everyone that the only footprint you should leave behind at any camp anywhere is your own.
If you take it in then you should take it out. If it wasn't there before you then it shouldn't be there after you.
I know the majority of people are fantastic and take their rubbish with them.
If we aren't careful, the powers that be will close off all national parks to the community and that would be a sad day
Anyway enough of my rant!! Enjoy my backyard and be safe!!
Cheers

Yes we just left there on Sunday and we cleaned up a right mess left by 3x200series drivers towing Kedron caravans. Was disgraceful ........Had words with them but didn't give a toss.....

Make sure you take pics with the number plates and the mess in the same shot. Did this earlier in the year with idiots who left one heck of a mess (after cutting down green trees right). Not sure how much they can do, though maybe they're more serious about that sort of stuff on the Cape than in a little NP outside of Melbourne...
