At $50 each we would only need about 160,000 members to look like serious buyers.

LCMP has been for sale for a LONG time .......

at one stage there was  rumour floating around that the Army was going to buy it.

I doubt it will sell anytime soon!

Cheers Chippy :D

I was there a couple of weeks ago and actually talked to Alben (owner). The rumour only started when a realestate salesperson contacted him and said do you want to sell your property and as he said anything is for sale for a price!!

So it looks like it is still around.

And according to Alben the army was never interested!

Cheers

As per Chippy's reply ... It's been up for sale for two years plus. I believe the original asking price was $10mil. Could be wrong tho.

Despite what Alben seems to have told you  Greg , it certainly appears like it is for sale ...

Chippy, mate I am not disputing it is for sale, I have even looked at the site myself so this is why when I realised it was Alben I was talking to I put this for sale thing to him and as Alben said anything is for sale for the right price, this is what he said to the guy from the realestate and now it is on the internet for sale (and has been for a while I believe). There is probably a lot more to the story but he never told me anymore and I didn't ask. All I know is that I would probably sell too if someone waved a cheque (cash one at that) with 7 zero's in it and a 1 in front of them zero's. I certainly wouldn't want the job of looking after such a place as it would be a big ask for one or two people, and a fair bit of stress involved as well I reckon..

Cheers

Greg

That real estate ad was doing the rounds on forums over a year back, not a new thing by any means.
