After meeting some of the family at the brisbane caravan and camping show I got their 9 disc dvd package.
I must say Dave tends to really "test" the cars and vans, especially his fathers patience!
Lots of great places they visit with plenty of laughs, well worth viewing if you have not already, especially without the ads!

We have enjoyed watching their DVDs too. Picked up the latest one at the show. The kids particularly like the bloopers at the end.

mayney, if dave was my son I think I would've locked him up before I did him some harm...That old man of his has the patience of a saint to put up with him.
Their dvd's are fun to watch though, and the flogging they dish out to their vans is amazing, but what I would like to see is the damage to the van after it comes back from a trip and what they did to fix it. It's great to watch these guys doing this but they can afford to fix it after they damage it whereas we common folk cannot, so it would be good to see if the vans actually sustain any structural damage. Not bagging their product in any way, but it would be good to see the other side of it that's all.
Cheers

When I was young a good trip was measured by how many panels I dented. I'm older and wiser now...

We also have all of their DVD's and love them. :cup: And yes, always look forward to the practical jokes at the end. Have looked at their vans and they are certainly well built. Looking forward to next years DVD. ;D Kevin

Greg, it would be interesting the final outcome of their vans and vehicles. David keeps digging his own holes lol
I met him,Glen and Coops and they seem like very genuine people to me, I liked them, they had alot of time for us it was great.
The interior held up well on their vans, I liked the look of them and I like the Mchitch they use.

Did they have the van that they used in the latest dvd at the show?
They do seem to be pretty genuine guys, when I went to the show last year I thought I would go and have a looksee at their vans. It was quite busy at their site but they were still trying to say hello and get to everyone they could, unlike some of the manufacturers!!!!

Yep their a great rainy day DVD........

I haven't seen the latest couple, but they are funny.
I tend to see myself siding more with Dave than Dad 8).

I have a couple of their DVDs I quite enjoy watching them , every show I go to I seem to come home with another one
but agree with GregS would like to see them after the trip to see the damage not shown
has anyone else noticed in the Fraser Island one they damage the right side suspension on a rock but the footage shows them replacing the left
They must have damaged both sides.
-
If anyone wants to sell me their set, please PM me!

Aussiecris, they did that on rainbow beach, getting around the notorious rocks near the town end. And you are correct, the driver' side was the one that hit the rock but then they replaced both sides. Not sure why. Later in the DVD when on Fraser Island they snap the tow bar! But they do have fun. 8) Kevin

I recon their trips would be an awesome adventure. One that many of us would love to tag along for. They seem to have all the right gear available to be self sufficient and have a good back up team at home to express new parts if needed. Their dvds show some good fun antics as well.
I just wish they made a camper/van along the size and style of the Jayco Swan or Kimberly Karavan allowing 2 & 4 person in a hard top or part there of set up.

Its always more fun when you don't have to pick up the tab at the end
In the far N.Q one they have a new 78 ser V8 diesel cruiser full throttle pulling hard in the sand and switch it straight off to talk to the camera
It makes me cringe, But I still love watching.
