So I got the camper and am starting to fit it out.
Only problem is I didn't think too much about the gas bottle size. So I bought a 4kg from Masters. I got one with the POL Valve and it is 400mm high. Suffice to say it doesn't fit.
So, what brand of gas bottle does everyone use. I think primus is only about 350mm high, what else is out there? Is there a significant difference between POL and 3/8?
(sorry mods, I guess this should be in general technical)
Thanks

4kg Primus, 9kg Manchester both POL. 3/8 is ok for lights and cookers but POL is more universal.

Our holder needed a 4.5kg and we wanted 3/8 ended up just getting one at k mart as no where else had them at the time

You can always buy an adaptor from 3/8 to POL or the other way around. Straight and 90's are available.

Yeah at this stage I was not too worried about the connection. It was more around the dimensions.
For eg. The primus website indicates a a 4kg cylinder with a POL valve is 390mm high, but one with a 3/8 is only 350mm. This is gonna make a difference to fitting in the desired location.
Thanks for the input so far guys, keep it coming!!
