Am awaiting delivery of a new 2012 Jayco Dove & having only had caravans before this, I was told by the salesperson that it was not required to have the load distributor bars (uplifters) fitted to the ct.
Should i be fitting same or is it in fact NOT required?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You should not need them with this type of trailer.

Hey Rocket, congrats on the new Dove that you have coming. We love our 2011 Dove that we got in December last year. No need for load balancer's on ours and we have done a lot I trips so far and are heading up North to Fraser island with it in 3 weeks time. It will sit behind your vehicle like a dream. Can't recall at any stage ever having the feeling that it was swaying at all.

thanks Createit, don't know whether I am over anxious, excited or nonplussed at the moment ......advised delivery time is early August, but will allow for the normal delays.
trying to think whether or not i have covered all bases in regard to needs.
going to look for local manufacturer of stoneguards or similar
