Title: Funny Letterboxes ....

After the success of the Weirdest Sign topic , I have been thinking about this one for a while , and now here it is .

We have all seen funny and strange letterboxes in our travels , and I love the imagination and sense of humour that goes into them ....

there's a section of road just out of Gympie where all the properties have weird letterboxes (almost like they have tried to out do each other...lol), i keep meaning to go back there and photograph them all one day. i also know of one in Leyburn where the person has made a 9kg gas bottle into a pig and turned it into a letterbox

There's lots of them as you travel around the country areas...A few years back "The Land" newspaper [I think] ran a competition for the best ones...and there were some amazing finalists.
