Why........ ??? ???

beacuse those old springs and shocks leftover from that suspension lift you did need to be used for something...

and pump up shockies would have been way better for weight distribution ::)

If you ever have the chance to check out some showies (as in the traveling carnivals) rigs, you will see these setups are very popular with professional travelers.
I think the blokes a little miss leading in saying that it'll suit most 4x4s, but this is a great setup for a truck.

As long as you don't expect your insurance company to pay up when it falls off the back and kills someone. I don't think you have a leg to stand on if you choose hang crap like this off the back of your truck, especially when we are laking about heavy loads.

Each to their own I guess.......................

I remember seeing these types of towbars many years ago, not this elaborate but they were designed for heavy vehicles with tough suspension so if towing a light caravan or trailer the vehicle didnt crack the drawbar of the trailer/caravan or shake the crap out of them which did happen frequently.  Mostly used on trucks but I havent seen them used for many years.  Now I am showing my age.

I think he's ducked down the road from Kinglake to St Andrews and smoked some of their 'special' weed.
