Well, I have finally pulled my finger out and started, actually almost finished a photo book of our trip to Cape York last year. :D
I am missing one important page :'(, a map/diagram/photograph of Cape York showing all the main areas. The ones I have downloaded from the web, dont work, because they are of low quality. Can somebody direct me/show me/send me an image of Cape York, that is of high quality, similar to photographs, so I can upload to our Cape York book. 8) Cheers.

May be best to take a photo of a map as I also am looking for a good quality image but have had no luck.

Can you do a screen copy from Oziexplorer maybe ??
I get pretty good quality from Gadwin Printscreen - its a freebie ...
I can scan a bit of my Hema Australia BIG MAP ...
Let me know coz I'll have to email it to you..

Hi Frostd,
If you're interested I can make you an image of a generic Landsat or SPOT mosaic for the area with rivers and settlements (maybe coastal access points) overlaid as long as you're not planning to sell the photobook ;D :police:. It would be a massive file for whole cape though. If you point me towards one of the maps you're interested in I could make something to the same extents (could take a week or 2 before I get time).

Hi mate, I'm testing here. The one of the Cape is 134K off Ausie Exp or you can export you Ozie track file to Google maps and do this below which is 248K but you could do it just of the Cape. In window 7 there is a built in capture tool called snipingtool
