I am intending to buy a CT in the next year or so. Currently considering an Aussie Swag or Kimberley Kamper.
I hope to use this site for research into buying considerations.
I retired nearly 5 years ago and have been taking one long trip a year since as well as shorter trips. Trips include the Simpson Desert, Kimberlies and Canning Stock Route to name a few.
This year we are off to the Binns Track in SA and the Garry Highway, Sandy Blight, Connie Sue and Ann Beadell tracks in WA. So far my wife and I have been using a tent but now we have completed a lot of the very remote, rugged tracks we are looking for a bit more comfort and convenience.
We have a manual diesel Land Cruiser 105 series set up for remote travel with 270L diesel tanks, 125L water capacity, rear dif lock, HF radio etc etc etc.

G'day Allan from one new member to another :)
I wish you luck in your research and purchase. We are in the final stages of making our decision on a purchase of our own and have used this forum extensivly (as a lurker) for my research as well.
