I was just sitting home bored and decided to polish most of the alluminium on our Lifestyle camper and all we need to do is finish of the front toolbox.
So my question is what has everyone done to there campers today and this post can continue on for every other day as well.
I hope i have not hijacked someone else's thread..............

Well I was packing it ready for five nights away, but with the weather forecast predicting up to 300mm of rain, flash flooding etc etc I might start unpacking.
-
Looked at it longingly as I took the work car out of the carport beside it for the first time in 14 days!
Maverick, Can you come over and polish it later if you have some free time available? ;D

You, my friend, have a warped sense of humor!!

Takes one to know one... besides you started it. ;)
Anyway so I can't be accused of derailing the thread...
Today (actually yesterday, but anyway...) now that we're back form Easter, after unpacking it, I re-packed it and filled it with other 'stuff' and pushed it out of the garage and down the side of the house.
I actually pack more stuff in it when we're not using it, as it comes in handy for storage so the garage isn't too cluttered.
Anyone else do this??

Aired it, cleaned inside & got stuck into the stove.
Now the kitchen area is shining brightly again just awaiting the cook and her famous stir fry.
She's up and ready to roll for our Fraser Island trip once most of the hoons & kids have cleared out.
Yee haa!!! - WD

Looked at it before I drove to work and again when I got home from work. Slept in it on the weekend, so won't have withdrawals till tomorrow at the very least.

I did the same, got up looked at the forecast this morning, and gave the kids the bad news. The way I look at it 3 little kids in a small canvas room + wet weather ain't a fun time away, might as well sit at home and watch Dora and Diego DVD's.
I did look lovingly at the camper as I mowed the lawn and leant on it a few times having refreshment breaks.

Rockman,
The question is about Camper Trailers............... wrong Forum mate!! ;D
-
Might actually wire up another 12 volt plug on the rear beside the taillights
-
Yesterday raining in Cairns, hasn't`t stopped, so I stood beside my CT & rested my cold beer on the front tool box
having a conversation with my CT till the sun went down. ;D ;D ;D
It was a hard day
-
The wife and kids arrive home today after having an extended break in the camper, (I had to come back to work) apparently it rained all night and everything is soaked, but the camper didn't leak. So I will be putting it up when I get home this arvo if the wife hasn't already.Got to love a camper that the wife can put up and down on her own.
-
Finished cleaning it out after the Easter Weekend away.
Wishing we had the cash to replace the canvas, it'll happen one day. ;D
Just like remodeling the Kitchen, just a couple of things to tart the old girl up.
Now where to next?

The other day I added my username to the tailgate.
We My wife had a cutting machine for scrapbooking that cuts letters straight from the computer and I had some vinyl left over from the decals on the camper so put the 2 together and the result is below.

Last few days I have
1. Connected a non return valve to the hand pump line so the 12v pump will stop spluttering. This was required due to Jayco not bothering to fit one, you would think they would know wouldnt you >:(.
2. Changed the Solar Regulator on the Portable Kit and added an Anderson plug to anything that looked like it needed it, much better now and the wife thinks I'm very cleaver. :cup:
3. Emptied the camper to give it a good clean out in preparation for a 4 day trip this weekend.
4. Currently in the process of cleaning anything and eveything I can get my hands on.

It's funny you say that Steve... We pack 'light' (legacy from our tenting days), and have many a time, stood back after packing the CT and gone "got a bit of room left... what else can we take"
Believe it or not, on our last trip, I manged to put 4 kids bikes in the CT!!! I $h!t you not... Quite proud of that.

Looked at my new camper trailer online.
Saw it on a few different websites.
No matter what website I viewed, there it was !!
Just waiting for me to take home,...................... one day :'(
-
got info on this machine/printer/what ever it is?
Yep here it is. Looks like a printer but has a sticky board to hold the materials and a blade instead of a print cart.

There are other ones out there "Cricut" is another one that springs to mind. Ours cost about $800 from memory.
It is just like what sign writers use only a domestic version.
You can even scan in line art and have it cut out the shapes. We have done the scout emblem, the Kids school coat of arms and even the Mighty Hawks logo. Takes time to manipulate it in the software but it is great. When Mrs CI does the titles on her pages there is no "If only I had that letter left on this sticker page"
We love it.
Enough Hijacking now

Looked at in parked in the shed *sigh*, wondering where to next. And then thought I should probably get around to ordering the new jockey wheel and LED tail lights we want to put in.
-
I lifted the anderson plug out of the six inches of water in the driveway.
-

Lost just spat his beer across the room :)
-
I filled the kitchen with food. Filled the drifts with all the wife's dried food for baking.
Got rid of the old camp stove and found a place for the bigger new one.
Plugged the solar panel in to make sure batteries are maintained.
We leave for our big lap in 4 days.
The house is empty and everything we own is on or in the CT or 4wd.
Getting nervous now. !
