My family (wife and 3 kids under 8) and I have been camping in an Oztrail tent for about 5 years. We are now ready to upgrade to a CT, but we are heving trouble finding one that suits our needs. We obviously need a CT that can sleep 2 adults and 3 children comfortably but do not want to spend over an hour setting up
We are looking at around $10,000 or under. It doesn't have to be "off road" and we would like a slide out kitchen. OUTBACK CAMPERS are in front at the moment, but I haven't got many to compare them to.
If anyone can steer us in the right direction It would be much appreciated!
Cheers Dyl.

Welcome Dyl
Havnt got one, but their Newell rear fold looks a ripper and would be an easy set up.
Oh, and welcome, let us all know how you go.

Hi Dyl,
Welcome to the forum, hope you find a camper soon. I don`t know where you are but this one might suit your needs. It`s an Outback Camper and in your price range.

Gday Dyl and welcome to the forum mate. If i was you i would be looking for an offroad trailer, you can take it to some wonderful places an onroad cannot. Outback Campers are great value for money. Their showroom is just down the road from where i live and i have been in there a few times and they look very well made.
There are many Outback owners on here and im sure you will get some positive feedback. Tambo is another to look at.
Also keep an eye on the classifieds, some great deals pop up everynow and again.
Good luck with it all mate and look forward to seeing what you decide on

welcome Dyl. enjoy the forum..

Thanks everyone.
We are from Albury/Wodonga and there are only a handful of campers that I can find in town, Outback, Kanga (too expensive) and mario trailers. So any feedback welcome.
Also, any thoughts on side v rear opening campers? We have been leaning towards the side opening camper as they seem to have more tent room, which is pretty important with 3 kids.

Welcome to the Forum Dyl. In regards to the side/rear fold i would be inclined to the side fold for three kids, you will have a bit more room depending on the size tent rather than a narrow space the width of the trailer. If you went rear fold you could always add on an extra room which would also add on time when setting up.
Sounds as though a trip to Melbourne may be needed to check out some other campers. I am biased and would give Tambo look ;D

Hi and welcome Dyl,
We are also from ALB / WOD, great place but getting colder now.
We went to the Albury camping show last month and ordered a Great Aussie Camper from Sydney ( read my last email in this section ) for more information.
Really happy with the service thus far, I am sure they would luv another enquiry from the best place in aus.
Hope all goes well for you, call if you require any further info.
