Well, like many before me I have sought occasional advice from the My Swag community as a guest. In late 2011 I purchased a Mountain Trail Escape from Albury. I grew up on the land so have enjoyed many nights under the stars in a swag and in the past 10 years we have a number of family camping holidays with a canvas touring tent. Being from Wagga Wagga I was pleased to be in a position to purchase a quality trailer from just down the road in Albury. It took approx 18months of thinking (some call it procrastinating) and a 2 year subscription to the Camper Trailer Australia magazine was also very helpful.
The trailer was a late 2011 demo Escape and i think I have correctly attached a picture of the actual trailer to this post - I hope that this is OK to do in an introduction. I had the boat rack modified to include a mesh floor and higher side rails and I also added 17" wheels / tyres to match the Prado. There are a number of other options and I am very happy with the camper trailer. It suits us at this point in our lives with two kids aged 14 & 12.
Since Nov-11 we have camped at Mulwala NSW, Tathra NSW & Jindabyne NSW. Last weekend we did a one nighter on Blowering Dam (hour and a bit from Wagga) with friends and their speed boat. The camper trailer and speed boat was a good combo with the camper trailer providing a good base.
July this year will see a trip to Ayers Rock and Alice springs which is something good to look forward to and I will no doubt be looking to My Swag for some valuable advice and tips.....
So there you go, that's my intro.....
Thanks for all of the ongoing advice and I hope that I can contribute to a few things here and there.

I do need to take some more photo's as I dont have many of the trailer in action as yet.

Thanks for the welcomes.

And this one was a Kosciusko Mountain Retreat in January on the way home from the NSW South Coast.
We enjoy Mountain Bike riding so I mounted 2 sets of Rhino Rack "Claws" to the rack a, which can be seen in this picture, so I can carry two mountain bikes on top for myself and my son.....

To Myswag,
Looks like you're pretty well setup. Nice camper.
Hey BHG, is it that the tailgate door swings in towards the middle of the setup?
First time I've seen that.
Anyway, Happy & Safe travels Rural.

Yes the tailgate does swing to the middle. The door into the main tent (which is 10ft) is therefore centred and not right next to the trailer. There is also a stainless steel bench that flips up from behind the tailgate which is a handy table / extra bench space.
Thanks for the additional welcomes everyone.
