I would highly recommend making sure that the draw bar on your camper has nothing protruding below as it will be bent or broken. So make sure the jockey wheel and winder do not hang below the draw bar.
As some of the creek crossings have steep drop ins and you will be dragging the draw bar and you may even take off any mudflats on the camper. Have hockey straps ready if you need to tidy up your connections to the tow vehicle.
Also the rear of the vehicle with the tow hitch will drag so make sure you plug socket is set above your tow hitch.

Very sound advice there . :cup:
Also if you have quite a low tow point ,you can travel with a 2nd tow hitch .I take a 2nd one that used upside down gives me an extra 75-100mm of clearance .
Can't drive on the road with it as it's to high and will cause swaying ,but offroad its a gem , I watched the trips from prev years and alot of trailers could have avioded damage by raising the tow point abot 100mm.

Because of the angles it is only a matter of time before your drawbar is dragging on the ground, regardless of how high your tow point is. Quite simply you don't want anything between the hitch and the front spring hanger that sits lower than the drawbar - if there is it will simply get smashed off.
