Hey there, we're a camping family looking to upgrade from the tent to a trailer before undertaking a longer trip next year. Lurking here over the last little while I've already learnt a whole heap and am looking forward to learning more before we park a trailer in the shed some time this year.
-
Hey there right back at ya!!!
Just don't have it parked in the shed for to long between using it :)

Welcome to myswag Dave, don't be afraid to ask silly questions, I know I do :)

Hey Dave welcome

Hi Dave & welcome to Myswag, any Ideas of a camper yet.
 Hutchie

Thanks all.
Hutchie, certainly a soft floor camper. We have an AWD Territory so we won't be doing any serious off-roading, but want a camper that'll go further than a caravan park. The Camel campers look great and get a good wrap on here, so we'll be visiting their stand when they come to the Albury 4wd show next month.
That said, we're still saving the pennies and have plenty of time before we plan to take our trip so there's still lots to find out about.

Hi Dave, welcome mate, I wish I had found site before buying my camper, would've made some different choices re mods etc.
Regards
Scott

G'day & Welcome and good luck in your search.
Are you looking at just new CTs?

Welcome aboard Dave ;D

G'day Dave
good to see more locals here. Keep an eye out for us a tthe 4wd show and say Hi. Best of luck with your search for your CT, took us about 6 4wd shows and then we found ours at the hunting expo in Wodonga a few years back.

Scott, I'm happy to have found the site, and I'm sure that it'll steer us clear of some rookie mistakes at purchase time.
Hi Jules, we'd prefer to pick up a late model second hand camper, provided we can find the right one at the right time. The curse of all of this great info is that the more I learn, the pickier I get. We're probably 6-9 months away from purchasing something, so we have time to save and look around.
Fivid, the 4WD show next month couldn't come at a better time for us. We missed the smaller one that was here a few months back, so we're looking forward to poring over the next one. We're in a great part of the world here for short trips, looking forward to some longer ones in future though.

Hi Dave and Welcome!
Going to the shows is certainly a good way to compare a few options in the flesh at once - don't be afraid to crawl all over any trailer that interests you while you have the chance!
