Title: Freight query for bullbar
Post by: su888 on December 25, 2011, 11:20:27 PM
Folks, i'm set on buying a ARB bullbar online from Sydney, and wondering if anyone has had any experiences in sending them interstate (cost wise) and who to use?

Exploring all options before deciding to pickup in person.

How far interstate?

More info -  Melb, Bris, Adelaide, Perth.

Mysawag links may do the job for you.  Wat you want to get from wher to wher?

Su888,

My bullbar was made in Thailand, imported into Perth, and freighted back over to Cairns. Came via TNT. The place I bought it from organised the freight - from memory is cost a couple of hundred.

I'd also second the swag mail, if it's not too far for you.

Good luck!
Matto :)

if you use them, then hopefully it will turn up in better condition then the fridge slide i just sent to W.A with them....bent like a banana and pretty much rooted now. i have no idea how it could end up like it has, it looks like it was left hanging half off of a pallet and someone jumped up and down on it a dozen times. they were half the price of TNT and the like, but geez i don't know if i'd use them ever again.
